A proven leader in entrepreneurship, private equity, and executive leadership, Vic Keller spearheads KLV Capital as its Founder & CEO. For over two decades, he has established, developed, and operationally optimized national and international businesses. Because of Vic’s passion for growing companies from the ground up, he truly understands – and acts on – the need to invest in people and create strong cultural foundations.

With an innate entrepreneurial spirit, Vic has built and sold a diverse portfolio of companies. From concept to concrete enterprise, he has brought over ten companies to fruition, including the ZAK Automotive Companies, which included three entities: ZAK products, a professional-use automotive fluid & maintenance products company that was an Official Partner of NASCAR; ZAKTEK, an insurance protection program sold exclusively within franchised car dealerships; and NEXEMO, a B2B e-commerce purchasing platform for the automotive industry.

In 2015, the ZAK Automotive Companies were successfully acquired by Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. Vic maintained his CEO role at ZAK and formally assumed senior executive responsibilities for Berkshire Hathaway Automotive, one of the nation’s largest automotive dealership groups. Here he oversaw several operating departments in the multi-billion-dollar organization, including the parts and service business. He also had the privilege to build and lead the Berkshire Hathaway Automotive professional development department, providing training, human capital, talent acquisition, sales strategy, Customer Experience (CSI), and Dealer Academy services to more than 10,000 associates.

Before his entrepreneurial efforts, Vic started his career in commercial banking at JP Morgan Chase, where he swiftly gained experience working with many entrepreneurs across several different industries. Soon Vic launched his own business. He has both welcomed new challenges and achieved entrepreneurial success ever since. Today, he holds several board appointments and draws on his leadership experience gained at startups, multi-billion-dollar organizations, and the various stages in between.

Diverse leadership experience and deep operational expertise are hallmarks of Vic’s career. Though he’s experienced in an array of sectors, Vic’s strongest verticals include automotive, financial services, manufacturing, distribution, and technology. Leading and living intentionally are keys to Vic’s success, whether he’s working with local charities or inspiring other entrepreneurs at a speaking engagement.

A loyal resident of the Lone Star State, Vic is a Dallas native who graduated from Texas Tech University and now lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with his wife and two sons. In his community, Vic participates in a number of nonprofits, including as a board member for the Acts 29 Global Mission Organization. Never afraid to take on a new adventure, Vic spends time flying, cycling, skiing, diving, and taking unique, adventurous trips with his family all over the world.
