Contributing his tenacity and versatility to organizations for 35+ years, Greg Eveland is a pet, animal health & distribution industry veteran and one of KLV Capital’s Operating Partners. For over two decades, he has worked in the private equity space as an operator at established firms, including Bain Capital, Frontenac Company, and Charlesbank Capital Partners. To keep organizations smart and lean, Greg takes on strategic leadership roles. From serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Animal Health International to founding Air Vet, Cattleman’s Insurance Company, and JW Partners. Greg is a complete executive and promotes a “roll-up-your-sleeves” and “we’re-all-in-this-together” leadership style which effectively unites, motivates, and propels teams. As COO of Animal Health International (AHI), Greg transformed a family business into an industry-leading public company. With an impressive jump from $200 million to $700+ million in sales, AHI flourished under his leadership, innovation, and operational know-how. He is a current owner of the industry-only one dose Mycoplasma product for cattle. In 2019 he successfully marketed and managed the entire transaction process for the sale of a contract manufacture of pharmaceuticals to a global Animal Health company. Greg attended Vanderbilt University on a football scholarship, where he was a four-year letterman and awarded the Nashville Civitan Award his senior year. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He has served on a variety of organizations’ boards, including Cattleman’s Insurance Company, American Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics, American Animal Health, VetBiotek, Dodge City Feeders, and White’s Chapel United Methodist Church (WCUMC). He also has done consulting projects for nine international Animal Health companies. Serving his local Dallas/Fort Worth community, Greg founded a nonprofit that provides free dental care in South Fort Worth, and he’s an active member of WCUMC. In his spare time, Greg keeps things moving, whether he’s playing golf or lifting weights, and enjoys spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren. Greg Eveland | Operating Partner
